Trusting in Man vs Trusting in God

I understand that trusting in a God we cannot see can seem a bit daunting. As humans, it seems more sensible to trust in the things we can see, smell, touch, hear and feel. However as Children of the Light, we are called to be different. Being different means that we STAND OUT! This means that our life would be an example for all to see. Our walk on this earth should be powerful and transformational to all who encounter us. We are expected to follow God and not man because man is merely human and human can fail us. In Jeremiah 17 from verses 5-6 He stated a message…

    Give Praise to God

Declaration As we continue to spend time with Abba we will declare His Word because His Word breaks chains. His Word is the very sword we need to fight against the enemy. “There is no one like the God of Israel!     He rides on the clouds in his divine greatness.     He comes riding through the skies to help you.  God lives forever.     He is your place of safety. His power continues forever!     He is protecting you. He will force your enemies to leave your land.     He will say, ‘Destroy the enemy!’  So Israel will live in safety.     Jacob’s well belongs to them. They will get a land of grain and…

    Face to Face

Moses who was called and chosen by God, played a very instrumental part in the lives of the Israelites. He served humbly and to this day there has been no other prophet like him in Israel. He is known to be the meekest man that ever lived. He gave up everything he knew to answer to the call. This was in deed a great assignment on His life and he served with integrity. The powerful miracles God used Moses to do were by far the greatest the Israelites had ever seen. Moses had a special relationship with God that often marvels me. He was the one who came face to…

    I will not be Ashamed

While in prayer this morning, Holy Spirit brought Psalm 25 to memory. I declare over us today that we are safe in the arms of Jesus. We will not be put to shame because our trust is in Him. Our enemies will not triumph us over. No, they will not laugh at us because He has redeemed us from all our sins. He will show us the best way to live and we will enjoy the good things from the Land. We will possess the Land He had promised to us. He will continue to guide and lead us in His truth so that we will always abide in Him.…

    Planted by Rivers of Water

As we meditate upon the word of God, one of the scriptures which the Lord brings to mind is Psalm 1.In this small passage the Lord shares with us through the Psalmist, the blessings which belongs to those who choose to walk with God. He stated that great blessings belong to those who refuse to listen to evil advice, those who do not live like sinners do and who do not join those people who find it funny to joke about our King. This simple list gives us the opportunity to reflect upon our life and determine whether or not we fall under any of these categories and if we…

    Rest and Rejuvenate in Christ

In this new season and new chapter of our life it is important that we spend some quality time with Abba. It’s time to Rest and Rejuvenate in Him in preparation for us to run the race He has set before us. Please do not hold back. Open up your heart and mind and entire life to Him and allow Him full access.  For the entire month of January I have decided to simply abide deeper in Christ. In 2021 I wrote a series called “True Vine Series” and focused deeply on John 15:1-8 – “The True Vine”. You can read the entire series by clicking on the link, Here.…

    Anchored

“Whoever hears these teachings of mine and obeys them is like a wise man who built his house on rock. It rained hard, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house. But it did not fall because it was built on rock. “Whoever hears these teachings of mine and does not obey them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. It rained hard, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house. And it fell with a loud crash.” Matthew 7:24-27 How anchored are you in Christ? Do the storms of life quickly bring you down and overwhelm you?…

Show that You are My Followers

Stay joined together with me, and follow my teachings. If you do this, you can ask for anything you want, and it will be given to you. Show that you are my followers by producing much fruit. This will bring honor to my Father. John 15: 7 & 8 – ERV It has been a beautiful journey with the Messiah as we walked with Him through the Vineyard. He carefully instructed us the true way to follow, He pruned and refined us, He prepared us for our great assignments and then He reinforced His desire for us to remain only in Him. Once we remain in Him, He promised to…

    Why be Thankful

Thanksgiving is a truly special time of the year. It’s that peculiar moment where we reflect on the days, months and years gone by, we ponder on our losses but even more so on our gains/blessings. It’s a moment in time where our busyness stands still in order to show gratitude to Abba and then we extend this to our family, friends, coworkers, other loved ones, and also to our enemies.  In this period of time we live in, it can surely be a bit difficult to utter thanks and I truly understand. We have been faced with great pain, sorrow and frustration as a result of everything happening in…

    Never Produce Alone

If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. John 15:6 Picture this, during the fall season the leaves lose their green feature simply because of the change in season. During this season, the days get shorter and the plants get less exposure to the sunlight as compared to the spring and summer seasons. Thus the leaves will now only get a fraction of the necessary nutrients required from the sun as before and would have to be sustained by what is already in the leaf to maintain its life.…
