Go Where He Calls You

Go where He calls you. He has already prepared the way. Be Strong. Be Courageous. God is with you.

Joshua 1:9 tells us “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

However let’s dig a little deeper. In Joshua 1 from verses 1 to 9 God spoke to Him after His leader past and instructed him to take up the mantle and gave him the keys to be successful. This is outlined from verses five (5) then in verse nine (9) reminded him that He would not be alone because He (God) would be with him wherever he went.

Joshua 1:5-9

No man will [be able to] stand before you [to oppose you] as long as you live. Just as I was [present] with Moses, so will I be with you; I will not fail you or abandon you. Be strong and confident and courageous, for you will give this people as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers (ancestors) to give them. Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do [everything] in accordance with the entire law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may prosper and be successful wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be [d]successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

I want to encourage you, to go where God calls you. Do not worry or become intimated by what it looks like. Stay focused on Him and stay in His word. Joshua was told exactly how to succeed and so us too. Commit your ways to the Ways and Word of the Lord and your path will be successful. Stay in Him and Abide in Him and all your plans will be successful. Every battle you face you will win because He wants you to succeed. He wants you to succeed in all you put your hands, mind or feet to do. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Do not worry, God has already gone before you. You will win! Stay in Him!

Shalom.
