    Abba Keeps His Promises

The Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised. 2 She became pregnant, and she gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age. This happened at just the time God had said it would. 3 And Abraham named their son Isaac. 4 Eight days after Isaac was born, Abraham circumcised him as God had commanded. 5 Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born.6 And Sarah declared, “God has brought me laughter.[a] All who hear about this will laugh with me. 7 Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse a baby? Yet I have given Abraham a son…

Times & Seasons – Wait Patiently

For everything there is a time and a season. We may be waiting now, but sooner than we believe, we will soon be enjoying the blessings.  Times & Seasons  Bible Reference: Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8 We have to learn how times and seasons work in our life. When it’s time to simply wait on God, we wait patiently, in love and in deep passion in Christ.  This brings a smile to my face because I just love God. I love how He makes me feel when I spend time with Him. He lets me know that there is a time and a season for everything. Though I may be waiting, I…

    God is In Control-Wait Patiently

During the week of January 13th 2022, I was a bit concerned about God’s timing for things to happen in my life. I know it seems anxious and I should not be. We are reminded to be anxious for nothing but instead, do everything with prayer and supplication, making our request known to God. He will then give us His peace to guidance.  I allowed my mind to take on a path of its own for a while and honestly, that’s not good at all. When we do that we give the enemy entry into our heart and mind and then we begin to worry and this often leads to…

    Meditate on God’s Word

In this short piece I will share with you what is “meditation” and “how to meditate on God’s Word.”  The Oxford Languages online definition of meditation is to “focus one’s mind for a period of time, in silence.” However because I felt that this definition was a bit too broad I decided to search for a more focused and biblical one.  Meditation according to the KJV Dictionary online is “To dwell on anything in thought, to contemplate, to study, to turn or revolve any subject in the mind.” https://av1611.com/kjbp/kjv-dictionary/meditate.html I believe that the more we break down a thought, phrase or word, the better we understand the full meaning of…

    Try Again

When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon [Peter], “Put out into the deep water and lower your nets for a catch [of fish].” 5 Simon replied, “Master, we worked hard all night [to the point of exhaustion] and caught nothing [in our nets], but at Your word I will [do as you say and] lower the nets [again].” 6 When they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their nets were [at the point of] breaking; 7 so they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both of the boats [with fish], so…

    Go Where He Calls You

Go where He calls you. He has already prepared the way. Be Strong. Be Courageous. God is with you. Joshua 1:9 tells us “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” However let’s dig a little deeper. In Joshua 1 from verses 1 to 9 God spoke to Him after His leader past and instructed him to take up the mantle and gave him the keys to be successful. This is outlined from verses five (5) then in verse nine (9) reminded him that He would not be alone because He (God) would…

Trusting in Man vs Trusting in God

I understand that trusting in a God we cannot see can seem a bit daunting. As humans, it seems more sensible to trust in the things we can see, smell, touch, hear and feel. However as Children of the Light, we are called to be different. Being different means that we STAND OUT! This means that our life would be an example for all to see. Our walk on this earth should be powerful and transformational to all who encounter us. We are expected to follow God and not man because man is merely human and human can fail us. In Jeremiah 17 from verses 5-6 He stated a message…

    Give Praise to God

Declaration As we continue to spend time with Abba we will declare His Word because His Word breaks chains. His Word is the very sword we need to fight against the enemy. “There is no one like the God of Israel!     He rides on the clouds in his divine greatness.     He comes riding through the skies to help you.  God lives forever.     He is your place of safety. His power continues forever!     He is protecting you. He will force your enemies to leave your land.     He will say, ‘Destroy the enemy!’  So Israel will live in safety.     Jacob’s well belongs to them. They will get a land of grain and…

    I will not be Ashamed

While in prayer this morning, Holy Spirit brought Psalm 25 to memory. I declare over us today that we are safe in the arms of Jesus. We will not be put to shame because our trust is in Him. Our enemies will not triumph us over. No, they will not laugh at us because He has redeemed us from all our sins. He will show us the best way to live and we will enjoy the good things from the Land. We will possess the Land He had promised to us. He will continue to guide and lead us in His truth so that we will always abide in Him.…
