    The Pruning Process

He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. John 15:2 From our last time spent together on “Abide in the True Vine”, we learned that Christ was speaking with His disciples and preparing them for His grand departure. It was essential that He took the time to carefully impart into their hearts these true words because it was these last words which brought their assignment all together. In verse one (1) He instructed them; who was the True Vine and who was the Gardener, to make it fundamentally clear who…

    Abide in the True Vine

Jesus said, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. John 15:1 Hey friend, let’s take a journey through the vineyard with Jesus. This moment was so very precious and special to Him and His disciples as He carefully shared so many secret truths with them. Soon He would no longer be with them.  In verse one of John 15 Messiah reaffirmed to them who He was and today still is. It was the seventh (7th) “I Am” which concluded His true character. He distinguished Himself from the wolves whose desire is to kill, steal and destroy His people. It was necessary that He shared these truths…

    He is with you

Jacob, the Lord created you. Israel, he made you, and now he says, “Don’t be afraid. I saved you. I named you. You are mine. When you have troubles, I am with you. When you cross rivers, you will not be hurt. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not hurt you. Isaiah 43: 1-2 (ERV) The pressures and troubles of this life have a way to weary us and bring us down. They become so burdensome that oftentimes we feel defeated. It sometimes feels like life has gotten the best of us. We may feel like there is no way out and we…

Release the old! Embrace the New

Let go of the old so you can embrace the new. What does this simple statement mean to you? Lately the Lord has been speaking to me about this. I kept on getting this annoyance about a dresser I had. This dresser had been with me for a good ten(10) years now. It was still in good condition except you would be able to identify the wear and tear just by glancing at it. However in order to draw that kind of attention away from my 10 years old dresser I took the wise decision to cover it up. The “covering” made me feel much better. I would not get…

    Let’s Not Linger

Let’s not linger… “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”” Isaiah 6:8 Let’s not linger in our pursuit of what inspires us. Let’s not linger in the assignments that scream our name. It’s screaming out to us day and night like wisdom crying out in the streets hoping that someone, just anyone would hear her. She cries and calls out for those who will realize that they need her to become all they have been created to be in this life. Isn’t there at least one thing that you perhaps…

    Dear Friend, Do Not Worry

“Don’t worry and say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ That’s what those people who don’t know God are always thinking about. Don’t worry, because your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:31‭-‬32 ERV Do you worry a lot? Sometimes I find myself falling into that sin. The Bible tells us that it is wrong. The Lord doesn’t like it when His children worry. Worrying basically signifies the lack of trust we have in our Saviour. If we have truly surrendered our entire life to Him then worrying should be the last thing on our mind. Why?…

    1010

The enemy our adversary has come but to steal, and to kill and to destroy, but Christ is here to give life and to give it more abundantly! What an interesting way Jesus clarified how to identify who our enemy is. In John 10:10, He explained to the people what characteristics made up an adversary as well as the good guy. The bad guy will break entry and deceive the people in order to get what he wants but the good guy has access into the gate. He even has a gate keeper who is familiar with him and will grant him access through the gate. There will be no…
