Know When its Time to Move on
Let go of anything in your life that adds no value. It’s keeping you away from what is truly valuable. The more you stay connected to what lacks value, the less you see what is valuable.
You know if something is valuable by it’s fruits. What is truly valuable produces much good fruit in all seasons and whatever is done truly prospers. What is not valuable acts like it can produce fruit and may even produce fruit but this fruit does not last.
Here are a few questions to ask yourself to help determine if something is really valuable.
Is this thing; job, career, relationship, opportunity, place, ministry, program…you name it, adding value to your life?
Is it improving your current state?
Is it opening new successful doors for you?
Is it transforming your life?
Is it helping you become the best you can be?
If you answered “YES” to these questions then awesome! you are on a good path to pursuing the amazing life that God has for you. If however your answer is “NO” then please continue assessing your situation with these questions.
Is it sucking you dry?
Is it bringing frustration?
Is there unnecessary stress?
Is it causing you to lose Godly opportunities?
Are you able to use your gifts, talents, skills and abilities there?
Is it focused on the progression of one party?
Do you feel useless? Unwanted? Rejected? Unloved?
You can tell if something is of God or not.
In the presence of God there is liberty, freedom, righteousness, peace and joy to name only a few!
If there is no value to improve your life in your current situation then you should take some time to reconsider whether you would like to continue where you are.
Always Remember
