He Doesn’t Want Perfection

Too often we hold back on what God has already told us to do because we don’t feel good enough. We don’t feel qualified. We worry about what others may think, the questions they may ask, simply, the judgement they may pass.

I sometimes find myself fitting into this category. God tells me to do a thing and out of fear, anxiety and doubt I begin to question what He said. I tend to forget who He says I am and even so who He is. I forget that I am Fearfully and Wonderfully made. Marvelous are the works of His hands. I would get so caught up in the fears and this clouds who He truly is.

Don’t get caught up in trying to be “perfect” or “wanting everything to be perfect” because God doesn’t expect us to be. He only wants us to be exactly who He created us to be. He wants you to be You! Exactly who He created.

So whatever He has already told you to do, do it exactly as He showed you. It will all be fine once you be You! Do it with the passion, creativity and zeal that’s down on the inside of you. Only you can be YOU and pull it off the way only YOU can. Creation is waiting with excitement for YOU to do it.

Once you do it as He has already called you to, your impact will be great. Remember, don’t worry about perfection, what truly matters is your heart.
